Our next CSREM Roundtable Ambassador Alliance safety professional development meeting is Tuesday, September 12th at 10am. This month’s topic is Mental Health First Aid.
Cheryl Englehardt, LPN, Onsite Medical Program Manager of OHS Training & Consulting, Inc. will speak on Mental Health First Aid and give an overview on how to apply an action plan in a variety of situations such as; panic attacks, suicidal thoughts or behaviors, non-suicidal self injury, overdose or withdrawal from alcohol or drug use, and reactions to traumatic events. In addition, as indicated in Michael Fiore’s recent email there will be time for in-person commitment resigning of the CSREM Ambassador Alliance members as sponsored by Michael A. Fiore, MA Department of Labor Standards, Program Supervisor, On-Site Consultation Program, Occupational Safety & Health Statistics Program and Peter Barletta, OSHA Compliance Assistance Specialist, OSHA Boston-South Office.
