Hello Ambassador Alliance Roundtable folks, 

None of you are surprised to receive this cancellation notification email. As I write this notice it is a bright and sunny day out here in Central Massachusetts, although, as you all well know tomorrow morning Tuesday 02/13/24 the weather forecast is for impactful driving conditions. Nancy reminded me that in our 24 years of Roundtable existence this is only the third time we have cancelled a meeting due to inclement winter weather.

The good news is Drew Peckham of Unified has made arrangements to sponsor next month’s CSREM meeting, keeping the same topic and speakers  – thank you Drew. Would the 71 of you who signed up for this month’s meeting please RSVP upon receipt of Nancy’s next month CSREM meeting invitation.

Hello Ambassador Alliance Roundtable folks, 

Our next CSREM Roundtable Ambassador Alliance safety professional development meeting will be February 13th on the topic of Hazardous Material Surveys.

Jonathan Nicoll from John Turner Consulting will provide an overview of Hazardous Material Surveys.  Jon will discuss when surveys are required, types of surveys required, what to look for on hazardous material surveys, as well as providing insight into the AQ-06 and AQ-04 DEP notification process.  Whether you dig in the ground, reno the existing superstructure or RIP the existing roof there are MA DEP/DLS requirements to follow from both a GC and sub point of view.
